GRADUATION!!!

I have finally graduated! On December 11, 2009 (also Ryan's birthday "Happy Birthday")I graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelors degree in Diagnositic Medical Sonography! It was a great day! Both my parents and Ryan's parents drove up to Ogden for the graduation ceremony. Afterwards we met up again at one of our favorite places to eat, Los Hermanos! Finally all the hard work, and crazy studying has paid off! Hopefully now, I can get back to blogging a little bit....

The world of blackjack!

March 23....

So on Saturday, Amanda and I were invited to participate in a friend's research project for his sociology class. His project, a game of blackjack to prove that the house always wins. He asked me to be dealer, and I don't know why, but I was really excited! Just the weird little things that I like, I guess. So if any of you are looking for an amateur dealer.... :) Anyway, what a great weekend!

Well, here's my first try and updating this thing. Amanda usually does it, but between work, school, and life, we both are so busy and I got a break before she did so here I am... We've actually done more on Facebook than on here, but it's probably about time this got updated too.
As you can see, we took an afternoon and went out west to the geode fields to find some pretty rocks. We saw a few hawks and a number of antelope. After spending an hour or so digging, we came home with quite the collection.
On our way home, we lost the road to the tumbleweeds. But it was fun to just go out and leave the world behind for a little while.
