VALENTINES DAY 2010

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a great weekend! On Saturday, we got dressed up and went out! It was fun to have a dressy date!

We ate dinner at the Chef's Table! Yum! We had the most amazing Tenderloin and shrimp! and to top it off some yummy creme brulee!

Next we headed to the Symphony! We cut the timing a little close, but were able to get in to our seats and enjoy a wonderful evening! This was my first time going to the symphony,
and I loved it!

Then we did a little dinner at home on Sunday (Valentine's Day). After we got home from church we sat up the living room, enjoyed some yummy salmon, caesar salad, garlic potatoes, and some fantastic sparkling apple cider!

Thank you Ryan for a FABULOUS WEEKEND!
I LOVE YOU!!!

RED DRESS DAY!!!

Feburary 5, 2010 is National Red Dress Day! National Wear Red Day is a day of action to showsupport for women and heart disease awareness and promote the Red Dress as a national symbol. National Wear Red Day promotes the symbol and provides an opportunity for everyone to unite in this life-saving awareness movement by showing off a favorite red dress, shirt, or tie, or Red Dress Pin. As an employee of Cardiac ICU, I was able to participate in the annual red dress fashion show. Macy'sprovided the dresses for the fashion show. Bryan one of our amazing cardiac nurses escort us out, and evenmade us do a couple of twirls for everyone! It was a ton of FUN! Thanks to everyone who participated!

FEBRUARY

February, month #2! So far I am meeting one of my goals :)

Valentines day is fast approaching.... (and we have a super fun date planned!) As I was looking around for some fun Valentine decorations/gifts ideas for my hubby I found this super cuteValentine Advent calendar! I'm not really crafty... but with a little work, and mostly copying this amazingly fun calendar (still working on the creativity) it turned out so cute! and what a fun (and cheap) way to celebrate Valentines day with your sweetie! We are day 4 into our countdown, and having a blast! I am pleasantly surprised that Ryan has gotten into our countdown! It has been fun way to countdown!

Here is how my countdown turned out!
